Which pet should you choose?

We review the species needs and select terrarium, lighting, heating, hides and nutrition, including safety and easy maintenance.

Our own breeding and the microclimate

The reptiles in the cards below are bred by us. The price depends on the morph and the size, so the card says "ask us" instead of a figure — tell us which morph and which size you are after.

The microclimate — heating, the thermal gradient, humidity, UVB and substrate — matters more than the terrarium itself. Each of those has a guide of its own.

Priced by morph and size — ask us

Essential care requirements

  • Temperature and humidity depend on the exact species and age; establish the working ranges before the animal is handed over.
  • Provide a suitably sized, escape-proof enclosure with hides in both the warm and cool zones.
  • Connect every heat source to a thermostat, and monitor temperature and humidity with separate instruments.
  • Keep clean water available at all times; choose substrate, lighting and diet for the exact species.
