The SunSun HW-603 is a non-electric pre-filter: an inline stage fitted before a canister filter's intake, using its own sponge media (3 sponges included) to trap waste particles, uneaten food and plant debris before they reach the main filter, extending its cleaning interval. ABS housing with quick-connect 12/16mm hose fittings and a twist-lock lid; no pump, UV or power supply of its own.
