A short, heavily buttressed tree: the pale trunk is far thicker than the crown, flaring at the foot into broad folded roots that grip the ground, and it is scarred and hollowed on the visible face. From the top a few thin bare branches spread out sideways, each ending in a small spray of yellow-green leaves, so most of the piece is timber and only the outline is foliage. Dimensions: 15x11x15 cm.
