A hollow log lying on its side, cut off at both ends and opened along the upper face, so the whole interior is visible and reachable from above as well as from either end. The bark is moulded as fine parallel grain in a grey-brown, worn paler on the ridges, and a thick blanket of bright green moss runs along the top edge and down the near end. Dimensions: 22x16x16 cm.
