A planted driftwood stand on a rectangular slab: a dozen dark, bare branch stubs of different heights are set upright close together, like a stand of dead timber seen from the bank. Between them the base is planted with bright green grass tufts and small bushy sprigs in a lighter green, and rough grey stones fill the gaps at the foot. The slab is flat and wide enough to be set down as a finished scene rather than buried. Dimensions: 33x18x24 cm.
