The Nyos Quantum EQ upgrade kit converts an existing Quantum 160/220/300 protein skimmer into a smart, app-controlled unit, adding a 24V Quantum pump, controller, RGB status lighting, power supply and bubble plate. It gives stepless 1-100% pump-speed control with Performance, Plankton-Saving and Nutrient-Export-Reduction presets, an RGB LED that shows pump speed by colour, automatic shutoff on blockage and remote app notifications, controlled via the Mobius app or Neptune Systems' Apex Fusion app (with the MXM Mobius Wireless Control Module). The upgraded 24V pump also runs up to 20% more efficiently and about 10% more powerfully than the standard motor.
