Nyos Phosi-EX is an iron-based, wet phosphate and silicate adsorption medium for marine and reef aquariums, formulated to rapidly strip phosphate and silicate from the water to prevent nuisance algae without affecting pH or releasing aluminium or other pollutants. Manufacturer dosing guidance is roughly 150-200 ml per 500 L of seawater, with each dose rated for about 1,000-2,000 L of water containing around 0.5 mg/L phosphate. Sold in 250 ml, 500 ml and 1,000 ml bottles; the bottle size of this listing is not stated.
