A hollow tree stump with the root mass left exposed: the trunk is cut off flat at the top and opened down one side, and beneath it four heavy roots arch away from the centre and take the weight, leaving gaps a fish can pass through at floor level. The wood is dark brown, deeply grooved along the grain, with green algae worked over the upper surfaces and into the crevices. Dimensions: 31x26x20 cm.
