The Hailea HC-80A is a compact water chiller for aquariums and ponds, the smallest in Hailea's HC series, rated for 80 litres of cooling volume. A compressor circuit charged with R134a / R-513A refrigerant cools the water as it passes through a pure-titanium heat exchanger suitable for both fresh and salt water, under a digital controller with a temperature-memory function. The unit plumbs in-line and is fed by a separate pump at a recommended 200-1,000 L/h. It is rated at 1/20 HP and draws 1.3 A at 110-120 V 60 Hz or 0.6 A at 220-240 V 50 Hz; the case measures 290 x 175 x 350 mm, the unit weighs 9.2 kg, and a full hose-connector set is supplied. Seven larger sizes complete the series, up to 2,000 litres of cooling volume.
