Blufibre is Ferplast's neutral, non-toxic synthetic filter wool for mechanical filtration in fresh and saltwater aquariums: it traps suspended particles to keep water clear, and works in internal or external filters as a pre-filter stage, a final polishing stage, or -- left unrinsed -- as a biological filtration substrate. Sold as a 100g spare-parts pack, usable as replacement media in Ferplast's Bluextreme external filters.
