Ciano CFStone is an internal aquarium filter shaped like a stone, so it blends into the decoration instead of looking like equipment: the power head and its cable sit inside the fake-rock body. It filters mechanically, biologically and chemically across two independent water circuits -- one cleans and treats the water, the other is given over to bacterial colonisation -- and an adjustable spray bar spreads the return flow and oxygenates it. This is the CFStone 40, the smaller of the two models: it is made for aquariums of 20 to 40 litres, its motor is rated 200 l/h, the body measures 14.7 x 13.8 x 5.3 cm and it works at water heights up to 35 cm, taking size S cartridges. Because it runs at a low water level it also suits water-turtle tanks.
