A natural bonsai piece, hand-carved in Vietnam, and a large one: a heavy dark root mass at the top sends eight or nine long limbs out sideways and downwards, several of them reaching almost the full half-metre width of the piece and ending in blunt, paler tips. Unlike the others in its group it carries no pale crown — the whole piece is root and limb, dark brown throughout and worn smooth along the undersides. Because each piece is worked by hand from natural material, no two are identical. This is the smaller of the two sizes the supplier offers in this design. Dimensions: 50x27x40 cm.
