A bonsai standing on a tall, narrow arch: the trunk splits low into two legs that meet again well above the base, so the opening through the piece is high and slim rather than wide. The canopy is carried mostly to the right and is worked in two greens, a light yellow-green on the outer tufts and a deeper green beneath. The base under the arch is built up as a planted rock pile with small grasses and sprigs, and a few thin strands hang from the branches. Dimensions: 49x25x30 cm.
