A soft artificial coral rock with bristle polyps: a knobbled, forked trunk on a small speckled base, with tufts of long, fine filaments bursting from four points along it and from the foot. The filaments splay out in every direction, so the piece looks like a rock caught mid-explosion. The photograph shows the design in three colourways — violet with magenta and green bristles, orange with yellow, and pink with magenta — and the supplier's table names no colour for the article. Dimensions: 15x10x17 cm. It comes from the supplier's range of artificial corals and reefs, which are offered for marine and freshwater aquariums alike.
