An artificial coral growing from a rock ledge: a bank of upright, granular fingers rises along the top of the ledge, and the rock itself is overgrown with a bright green crust that runs up between the lower fingers. The fingers are a strong salmon pink and the contrast between the two makes the piece read as a living rock rather than a single coral. Dimensions: 25x18x13 cm. It comes from the supplier's range of flexible artificial corals and reefs, which the catalogue lists for freshwater aquariums.
